The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-235C is a remanufactured front axle assembly built for precision and reliability. This assembly utilizes a Ford 8.8-inch ring gear with a 3.31 ratio, specifically designed for Independent Front Suspension (IFS) systems featuring a non-locking differential. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to stringent quality standards. Zumbrota Drivetrain conducts comprehensive inspections for housing straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internally, all components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. Gears undergo inspection for precise tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds, while proper gear backlash is set for quiet operation and adequate lubrication.
