8.8" Multimedia Navigation Android 13 Head Unit

The Avin 8.8" Multimedia Navigation System is an advanced head unit replacement specifically designed for BMW 3-Series E46 and M3 models manufactured between 1999 and 2006. This system seamlessly integrates into your vehicle's dashboard, offering a modern infotainment experience with an OEM-like appearance. Powered by an Android 13 (64-bit) operating system, this unit boasts a robust 8-core Qualcomm CPU capable of speeds up to 2.0 GHz. It comes equipped with either 4GB or 6GB of DDR3 RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for applications. Connectivity is comprehensive, featuring dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz) and advanced 4G LTE with a SIM card reader via the Snapdragon X12 modem. However, specific accessory kits may be required depending on your vehicle's original configuration. If your BMW E46 does not have factory navigation or a TV monitor, an HVAC relocation kit (not included) is necessary. An optional IBUS USB adapter is available to enable OnBoard Computer functions, Parking Distance Control visualization, and other vehicle settings. It is compatible with the Harmon Kardon sound system. This system supports various features such as GPS navigation (online and offline), backup and front parking cameras, and steering wheel button control for enhanced convenience and safety. An optional Advanced Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chipset can further elevate your audio experience with a 15-band EQ and time correction. Note that the DAB+ USB Dongle is not compatible with North America, and the dual DVR dashcam is not compatible with the 2.4GHz wireless transmitter kit for the backup camera. Furthermore, the optional Advanced DSP chipset with 15 EQ Band must be ordered with the head unit, as it cannot be added later.
