The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2181A-P is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for Ford 8.8-inch rear differentials found in 2002-2003 Ford E150 vehicles. This unit comes equipped with a Posi Limited Slip Differential, a 3.55 gear ratio, and is configured for drum brake systems. The assembly includes the differential cover, and features 31-spline semi-floating axles. Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds these axle assemblies to stringent quality standards, emphasizing precision and reliability. Each unit undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested. Crucially, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque.
