The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1917B is a remanufactured complete axle assembly built for precision and durability. This assembly is engineered to be a direct fit for Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis models from 1998 to 2000. It features an 8.8" ring gear and a 3.08 ratio. Each axle assembly undergoes rigorous inspection processes to guarantee optimal performance and reliability. This includes thorough inspection of axle tubes for straightness, comprehensive testing of housings for wear and cracks, and 100% inspection of all internal components like ring and pinions, clutches, and carriers. To ensure longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are restored to an OEM finish through an advanced hydro-blasting and rinsing process, and the correct rolling torque is established using precise inch-pound measurements. This axle assembly includes the axle cover but does not include fluid. It is designed as a Semi Floating axle type. Fitment includes: Ford Crown Victoria (1998-2000) and Mercury Grand Marquis (1998-2000).
