The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2034B is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for the Ford 8.8-inch rear axle. This unit comes with a 3.08 gear ratio and is configured for vehicles equipped with rear disc brakes. It is intended as a replacement for 1997-1999 Ford F-150 models. Each Zumbrota axle assembly is rebuilt to stringent quality standards, ensuring precision and reliability. The remanufacturing process includes thorough inspection of all components for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal parts such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are individually inspected and tested. To guarantee optimal performance and longevity, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are set to precise backlash specifications with correct rolling torque measurements. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process on internal and external parts.
