The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2034F is a remanufactured axle assembly engineered for 1997-1999 Ford F-150 models equipped with the 8.8-inch ring gear and a 3.31 gear ratio. This unit is specifically designed for F-150s featuring rear disc brakes and is not compatible with Posi Traction systems. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to the highest quality standards, undergoing thorough inspections for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Zumbrota replaces all bearings and seals, and meticulously inspects gears for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, ensuring precise setup and longevity. The assembly is built to OEM standards of straightness, utilizing an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process. The cover is included, but fluid is not.
