The Zumbrota Drivetrain Remanufactured Complete Axle Assembly (RAA435-2036F-P) is an 8.8-inch ring gear axle assembly designed for 1999-2000 Ford F-150 trucks. This assembly features a 3.55 gear ratio, rear disc brakes with a square backing plate flange, and Posi Traction (limited-slip differential). Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures high quality by thoroughly inspecting each assembly for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are precisely set for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements to ensure precise setup and longevity. Axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM standards of straightness. The assembly undergoes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, bringing all cases back to an OEM finish. This unit does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
