The Carrillo 8984SET is a Bullet Series Connecting Rod and Piston Combo Set engineered for severe duty applications, including nitrous, superchargers, and turbochargers. The piston features a 2618 alloy construction, 9.5:1 compression, and a 4.100\" bore, along with dual forced pin oilers, contact reduction grooves, accumulator grooves, and forged side relief. It includes chromoly wrist pins with wire locks and a contemporary ring set designed for high-performance use. The connecting rods are made from 4330 modified forgings and come standard with WMC H-11 Tool Steel Fasteners. Both components are manufactured in the USA with tight tolerances and are balanced to +/- 1 gram.
