8-Inch 4-Link Conversion Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 8-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion is engineered for 2014-2018 4WD diesel RAM 2500 trucks, designed to enhance stance, performance, and capability while allowing for up to 40-inch tires. The kit features a 4-Link conversion, replacing factory radius arms with high-strength steel brackets and HD upper/lower control arms to optimize suspension geometry and strength. Upfront, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs for a smooth and predictable ride. Steering correction is achieved with a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket. The kit also incorporates a transmission crossmember and transfer case indexing ring to correct front driveline angles for factory front driveshaft use. Rear components include new coil bucket seats, a track bar relocation system with an adjustable track bar, and extended sway bar links. Buyers can choose between NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. The NX2 Nitro Series shocks are nitrogen-charged, twin-tube with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. The FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks feature an IFP monotube design with an extruded aluminum body and application-specific valving. Important notes include the requirement of a carrier bearing drop kit for 2-piece rear drive shafts, and potential need for a rear driveshaft spacer kit for adequate engagement. Additionally, 40x13.50 tires may require trimming, and depending on wheel width and backspacing, may necessitate spacing the front bumper forward and inner fender trimming.
