8-Inch 4-Link Conversion Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 8-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion is engineered for 2014-2018 Ram 2500 diesel 4WD trucks, enhancing stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 40-inch tires. This comprehensive kit transforms the front suspension by replacing the factory radius arms with heavy-duty 4-link control arms, utilizing 1/4-inch steel brackets for optimized geometry, strength, and caster control throughout the suspension travel. Included are diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs made from high tensile steel for a smooth and predictable ride. To correct steering geometry at this height, the kit features a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep the front axle centered. For the rear, new coil bucket seats are provided to mount the springs outboard the frame, allowing for a shorter, more stable coil spring design that minimizes bowing. A new track bar relocation system, including a heavy-duty adjustable track bar, ensures proper rear roll center height and axle centering. Extended sway bar links complete the rear setup. This kit also addresses driveline angles with an indexing ring and a new transmission crossmember, allowing the use of factory front driveshafts. Buyers can choose between BDS NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. The NX2 shocks feature a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage valving, while the FOX shocks boast an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design with application-specific valving and a durable aluminum body. Recommended tire and wheel combinations include 40x13.5 tires with 17x9 wheels with 4.5-inch backspace, or 40x13.5 tires with 20x9 wheels and 5.5-inch backspace. Trimming may be required for optimal tire fitment. The kit is specifically designed for the 2014-2018 Ram 2500 4WD models equipped with a diesel engine.
