8-Inch 4-Link Conversion Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 8-inch lift kit, combined with a 4-link conversion, is engineered for 2011-2016 Ford Super Duty F250 and F350 diesel trucks. This comprehensive system aims to enhance your vehicle's stance, performance, and overall capability, providing ample clearance for up to 38-inch tires. It also features heavy-duty 4-link control arms that replace the factory radius arms to optimize suspension geometry, improving handling, strength, and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses 1/4-inch steel brackets and HD control arms to correct axle positioning and limit caster change during wheel travel. A forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket ensure proper steering angles, while sway bar relocation and brake line brackets are also included. In the rear, the kit incorporates BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs. These are designed with a multi-leaf progressive spring rate and a triple-stage system, including an integrated overload leaf, to provide a smooth ride when unloaded and maximum hauling capacity when loaded. This design reduces axle wrap and enhances flexibility. The rear also includes u-bolts and brake line brackets. The system comes with vehicle-specific tuned nitrogen-charged shocks, with options for NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. The NX2 Nitro shocks feature a twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, while the FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks offer an aluminum body, IFP monotube design, and application-specific valving for maximum performance. Installation is described as easy and 100% bolt-on, with an estimated moderate difficulty and 8-hour installation time. Additional notes mention that a front bumper spacer kit may be required for 38"x15.50" tires, and potential front driveline vibration or driveshaft issues may require specific alignment kits or a new front shaft depending on the vehicle's configuration.
