The Kicker 48TRTP82 is an 8-inch down-firing loaded subwoofer enclosure designed for powerful bass with a compact footprint. It features a passive reFLEX subwoofer and a CompRT active sub, pre-wired to a single 2-Ohm terminal. The enclosure is built with extensive internal bracing and thick MDF construction.

The CompRT subwoofer boasts signature red double stitching, an improved Santoprene surround, and a polypropylene woofer cone. Revolutionary SoloKon™ technology integrates the cone to the vented back brace, creating a single unit that cools the motor and reduces distortion. KICKER engineers also developed Forced-Air Cooling™ to help the subs run 20 percent cooler.

The Kicker 48TRTP82 is an 8-inch down-firing loaded subwoofer enclosure engineered to deliver significant bass without sacrificing valuable cargo space, making it ideal for placement under truck seats or in trunks. This enclosure houses a passive reFLEX subwoofer and an active CompRT subwoofer, both pre-wired to a single 2-Ohm terminal. The robust construction includes extensive internal bracing and thick MDF for durability. The CompRT active subwoofer features a striking red double-stitched cone, an enhanced Santoprene surround, and a polypropylene woofer for optimal sound reproduction. KICKER's innovative SoloKon™ technology merges the woofer cone with the vented back brace, forming an integrated unit that effectively cools the motor and minimizes distortion. With an impedance of 2 Ohms, the 48TRTP82 is best paired with an amplifier providing 300 watts RMS, though it can handle up to 600 watts peak power. It has a sensitivity rating of 85.5 dB at 1 watt/1 meter and a tuning frequency of 49 Hz. The enclosure's dimensions are 23-5/8 inches wide, 5-3/8 inches high, and 12-1/4 inches deep, making its thin-profile design suitable for tight spaces.
