8-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS530FS is an 8-inch lift kit engineered for 2005-2007 Ford Super Duty F250 and F350 diesel trucks. This comprehensive kit aims to enhance your truck's stance, performance, and capability, offering clearance for up to 38-inch tires. The front suspension is transformed with a 4-link conversion, featuring diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs for the correct lift height and a smooth ride. Heavy-duty 4-link control arms, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket, sway bar relocation brackets, and brake line brackets are included to optimize suspension geometry, correct steering, and ensure proper component placement. The kit is finished with custom-tuned NX2 or FOX nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs with an integrated overload leaf are utilized to provide a smooth ride under various loads, reduce axle wrap, and offer flexibility. U-bolts and brake line brackets are also supplied, along with matching NX2 Nitro or FOX Performance shocks. The Glide-Ride leaf springs feature a multi-leaf progressive design with tapered and roll-pointed leafs, anti-friction pads, and bolt-style alignment clamps to enhance flexibility, articulation, and ride quality. Installation of this kit is considered difficult and is estimated to take approximately 8 hours, requiring tools such as a grinder, sanding disc, drill, and a pitman arm puller. Note that a front dual shock hoop may require different cylinders than those included in the base kit, and if your vehicle is equipped with a 2-piece driveshaft, a driveshaft alignment kit might be necessary.
