8-Inch Long Arm Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS630H is a robust 8-inch lift kit engineered with a long-arm conversion system specifically for 2009-2013 Dodge RAM 2500 diesel-powered trucks. This comprehensive kit is designed to significantly enhance both on-road and off-road performance, providing improved stance, capability, and clearance for tires up to 38 inches in diameter. Key components include a pair of full-length, diesel-specific progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs for a smooth and predictable ride, manufactured from high-tensile steel for maximum reliability. Stability is further enhanced as the long-arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms. For steering optimization, a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket are included to minimize steering angle and keep the front axle centered. The front of the kit includes all four control arms with their mounting brackets, while the rear utilizes heavy-duty cast steel blocks and longer U-bolts. Both front and rear suspension systems are complemented by precision-tuned NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen-charged shocks. Installation is rated as moderate with an estimated time of 8 hours and requires specific tools such as a unibit, step drill bit, drill-puller, and potentially a welder. Important fitment notes indicate that rear lift options will not fit dually applications. If driveline vibration occurs, a transfer case drop kit may be necessary (NOTE: 122606 transfer case drop kit only replaces OE bracket #52121938AA). Additionally, 102009 Rear brake lines are not compatible with 2012-2013 models. Exhaust modification may be required for the dual rear shock kit (122009), and 2500 Gas models will need front exhaust crossover pipe modification on the driver side if a transfer case indexing ring kit is installed. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads may require UBT4068; measure your rear axle tube before ordering.
