The Rockford Fosgate M2-8B Color Optix™ marine speakers are 8-inch, 2-way coaxial speakers engineered for exceptional audio performance and customizable aesthetics. They deliver loud, clear, and accurate sound, with a frequency response from 35 Hz to 24 kHz and handling up to 250 Watts RMS (1000 Watts Peak). The integrated Color Optix™ system allows for a personalized lighting experience, adjustable via the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ plug-and-play controller and the RF Connect App (controller sold separately). Built for the rigors of marine environments, these speakers are Element Ready™, meaning they are purpose-built to resist water, salt, and UV rays. They feature an IPX6 water intrusion rating and are tested to ASTM G154 (UV) and ASTM B117 (Salt/Fog) standards. Construction includes an injection-molded polypropylene cone, a 1-inch high-temperature Kapton™ voice coil former, and a 1-inch laminated "PXNX" dome tweeter with a dual neodymium magnet motor. The mounting hardware is stainless steel. The M2-8B speakers offer multiple grille options for a customized look and feature integrated Deutsch™/Amphenol™ connections for reliable, marine-grade plug-and-play connectivity. The crossover is a 12dB/Octave high-pass design with a fully sealed, integrated concealed crossover (ICC) network. These speakers are sold in pairs.
