Description

The PRV 8MR500-NDY-4 is an 8-inch neodymium midrange loudspeaker designed for exceptional vocal reproduction in compact enclosures. It features a 2-inch dual-layer CCAW voice coil wound on a Kapton former, delivering a strong vocal response from 300 to 850Hz. With a 500-watt continuous program power rating, this speaker produces high acoustical output.

Designed for applications where space is limited, it boasts a shallow mounting depth of only 3.03 inches. Its high-energy neodymium motor and a low-mass, stiff cone contribute to clean, detailed, and high-impact sound reproduction. The triple-roll treated cloth surround ensures an extended frequency response up to 9,000Hz.
