Description

The PowerBass XPRO-8CX is an 8-inch octagonal pro audio mid-range driver engineered for serious SPL competitors and enthusiasts. Its octagonal shape allows for easy stacking to increase surface area. The driver utilizes a hybrid carbon/DDC stiff paper cone paired with a pro audio double roll textile surround for robust performance. Internally, the XPRO-8CX features a 2-inch BASV voice coil and a substantial 80 oz. Y-35 grade motor structure, complemented by a vented pole piece to manage heat during high-output operation. It presents a 4-ohm system impedance and includes chrome push input terminals for secure connections. Key specifications include a power handling of 225 watts RMS and 450 watts peak, a sensitivity of 95 dB (1W/1M), and a frequency response ranging from 100 Hz to 5 kHz. The mounting depth is 3.25 inches, making it adaptable to various installations. Grills are included with the driver, which is sold individually.
