The AudioControl SPK-V8 Spike Series is a premium 8-inch vented loaded subwoofer enclosure engineered to significantly upgrade your vehicle's audio experience. Constructed from high-density wood fiberboard, this enclosure is built for longevity and resonance control, featuring a Roadkill Armor coating and a marine-grade vinyl wrap for a sleek, durable finish. Inside, internal support and bracing enhance both the performance and lifespan of the subwoofer. The enclosure houses an AudioControl Spike Series subwoofer with an 8-inch fiber matrix paper cone enhanced with a mica coating. This robust design, coupled with a heavy-duty voice coil and a high excursion capability, ensures optimal speaker placement for an immersive and powerful audio experience. The dual-front mounting baffle design and poly-fiber filling contribute to controlled sound dispersion and tight, accurate bass response. It handles 350 Watts RMS and 500 Watts Peak power, with a final impedance of 2 OHMS and a frequency response of 20-150 Hz. The enclosure also comes with a sturdy, powder-coated steel grille for added protection. For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair this enclosure with an AudioControl amplifier. This model is part of a series available in 8", 10", and 12" sizes.
