The BDS Suspension BDS003809 is a rear leaf spring suspension kit engineered to upgrade the rear suspension of your lifted 1999-2007 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty truck, or your 2000-2005 Ford Excursion 4WD SUV. Featuring BDS's Glide-Ride multi-leaf progressive spring rate design, this kit aims to provide a smooth ride regardless of load conditions. This design reduces axle wrap and enhances suspension flexibility through an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring configuration. The springs are constructed with tapered and roll-pointed leafs for an even deflection rate and increased wheel travel, while anti-friction pads contribute to a smooth and quiet operation. Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps allow for higher articulation by preventing the leaves from fanning out. This suspension kit provides an 8-inch lift height over stock springs, making it suitable for various driving conditions, from hitting the trails to towing heavy loads or daily driving. The kit includes bushings, and the installation time is estimated between 1-2 hours. Specific details include a leaf quantity of 5, a leaf spring arch length of 12-3/4 inches, a leaf width of 3 inches, and a length of 53 inches with the front eye to center axis measuring 26-1/4 inches.
