The Kenwood KFC-XW800F eXcelon series subwoofer delivers powerful bass performance in a compact, shallow-mount design. Measuring 8 inches, this subwoofer is engineered to fit into spaces where traditional subwoofers cannot, with a minimal mounting depth of just 2-3/4 inches. Constructed with a durable carbon-glass fiber composite cone and a butyl rubber surround, the KFC-XW800F is built for longevity and consistent sound reproduction. The single voice coil operates at 4 ohms and is paired with a super linear spider for enhanced control over the woofer's linear motion. This shallow-mount subwoofer can handle peak power of 600 watts and RMS power of 150 watts, with a recommended power range between 50 and 150 watts RMS. Its frequency response spans from 40 Hz to 500 Hz, and it has a sensitivity of 78 dB/W/m. The cutout diameter required is 7-5/16 inches. This model also includes a removable front trim ring for a cleaner installation aesthetic.
