Description

The PowerBass PBX1-8D4 is an 8-inch subwoofer from the PBX-1 Series, engineered to deliver deep, accurate bass with a balance of power and precision. It is designed for extended low-frequency response, providing tight and refined transient bass tones within its 40 Hz - 400 Hz frequency range. The internal structure includes multi-layer progressive spiders for controlled bass response and enhanced durability, all housed within a proprietary non-resonance steel basket that is both lightweight and robust. To ensure consistent performance during extended use, the PBX1-8D4 incorporates an innovative cooling system. This includes Perimeter Aero-Vent Voice Coil Cooling Vents and a vented BASV voice coil former, which work together to keep the voice coil cool under demanding conditions. The subwoofer's compact design, with a cutout diameter of 7 1/8 inches and a mounting depth of 5.25 inches, allows for installation in tight spaces. It is compatible with PowerBass SWX Subwoofer Grills for added protection.
