The KSport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in stopping power, especially under demanding conditions like sustained high-heat or track use. This kit is engineered as a sophisticated, bolt-on solution to enhance your vehicle's braking performance. It features a robust 8-piston caliper design with 330mm x 32mm rotors, offering substantial improvements over stock braking systems. Constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. This construction method eliminates weak spots, preventing fracturing and warpage over time. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons protected by heavy-duty, high-temperature seals and opposed-piston designs for consistent pad wear. Titanium brake pad retainer clips and stainless-steel wear plates are also standard. The lightweight center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker response and easier stopping. This two-piece design also mitigates rotor warping due to heat expansion. For daily driving, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-focused applications to manage heat, dust, and gases more effectively. Included in the standard kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The calipers can be customized with various colors, including standard options like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish or custom finishes.
