At the core of this kit is an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. Weighing just over 5 lbs., it features a differential bore configuration for optimal performance. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design dramatically enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components. Stainless-steel brake lines are included to prevent hose expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly, which contributes to reduced rotating and unsprung weight. For enhanced thermal management, many applications feature a floating disc option to prevent warping from extreme heat. The unique slot design on the 330mm rotors actively reduces braking noise and expels gases and pad material more effectively than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving.
