The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, providing light weight, unparalleled strength, and corrosion resistance. They feature opposed-piston designs for improved pad grip and reduced uneven wear, along with aluminum pistons for better heat resistance. The reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto existing mounting points. The kit includes 356mm (14") 2-piece rotors with an aluminum center for lower rotational mass and quicker braking response. The rotors are drilled and vented for optimal cooling, and the 2-piece design minimizes the chance of warping. Stainless steel brake lines are also included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to faster pedal response. Key features include 8-piston calipers, drilled and vented rotors, and a minimum wheel diameter requirement of 457mm (18"). All caliper seals are heavy-duty for sustained high-temperature use. This kit is a direct bolt-on replacement requiring no modifications. It is compatible with 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza STI models.
