8-Piston 356mm Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power and reduce brake fade for vehicles equipped with 2WD drivetrains, unless otherwise specified. This front brake system utilizes massive 8-piston Supercomp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, each weighing just over 7lbs. These calipers feature differential bore configurations, larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp series, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups, while the included D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel and response. The kit includes 356mm diameter, 32mm thick 2-piece floating disc assemblies. These floating discs reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, and prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are best for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, a ceramic compound offering optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F with reduced dust and noise. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, a carbon metallic compound, are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperature range of 482°F – 1472°F. This Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed to fit the BMW 3 Series Sedan F30/F31/F34 models from 2012-2019, including the 320i, 320i xDrive, 328i, and 328i xDrive, equipped with N20 or N26 2.0L engines.
