8-Piston 380mm x 32mm Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping performance for your Volkswagen New Beetle (1998-2010) equipped with the 1.8T engine. This front brake system features a massive 8-piston caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, significantly increasing clamping force and rigidity over stock. It integrates Ksport's advanced brake technology to effectively reduce brake fade and continually refresh the brake pad surface during demanding use. The kit includes a 380mm two-piece floating disc assembly, designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the rotor. The unique slot design on the rotor aids in reducing braking noise and expelling gas and pad debris more efficiently. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, better suited for track applications. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, or an optional upgrade to RC5 Race Pads for extreme track use. This big brake kit is made to order and is non-refundable. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity. Stainless steel, D.O.T. compliant brake lines are included, enhancing pedal feel and response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Additionally, the kit comes with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow the larger Ksport calipers to bolt directly to the OEM caliper location.
