It weighs just over 7 lbs and includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless-steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. Each caliper utilizes four brake pads due to its large size. The two-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotational and unsprung weight, preventing thermal stresses from causing warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gases and pad debris. Standard on this kit are slotted rotors, recommended for track use, though cross-drilled options for better cooling on daily drivers are also available.
