The Ksport ProComp Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated, bolt-on solution to significantly upgrade your vehicle's braking system, especially for demanding high-heat and performance driving scenarios. Constructed for superior performance and durability, the kit includes 8-piston calipers made from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum. This construction provides exceptional strength and light weight while resisting corrosion. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which offer better heat resistance and freedom from corrosion compared to traditional materials. The braking system is further enhanced by 2-piece vented and drilled rotors featuring an aluminum center hat. This design reduces rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The 2-piece rotor construction also allows for less restricted expansion and contraction, significantly reducing the chance of warping under extreme conditions. Key features of this kit include 330mm (13-inch) rotors, an opposed-piston caliper design for improved pad grip and even wear, heavy-duty caliper seals for sustained high-temperature use, and stainless steel brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure for faster pedal response. The minimum wheel diameter required is 432mm (17 inches), and the calipers are finished in an orange anodized color. The intended driving style for this kit is performance and racing, with street-style brake pads included.
