8 Piston Big Brake Kit

This kit expands upon the Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, more pistons, and standard full-floating rotors that improve caliper self-centering. Each caliper is forged from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers to provide superior heat resistance. The kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer rotor section can adjust slightly for better self-centering within the caliper. This design minimizes brake drag and maximizes braking efficiency through more even pad application. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-oriented vehicles. Included with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, formulated to provide excellent braking performance on the street and during occasional track excursions. These pads are designed to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. They operate optimally within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Furthermore, the kit incorporates D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines.
