The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Mercedes-Benz CLS550 (C218, 2012-2014, Non-AMG). The kit features a one-piece forged caliper construction from aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. The opposed-piston design promotes even brake pad wear, while the aluminum pistons are protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling high temperatures. Complementing the calipers are two-piece 356mm x 32mm rotors. These rotors are significantly lighter than OEM one-piece units, reducing rotational mass for quicker wheel response. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, greatly reducing the risk of warping from heat buildup, and the aluminum center sections act as effective heat sinks. Standard inclusions for this kit are the Ksport calipers, rotors, SC5 street performance brake pads, and DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These braided lines enhance pedal response and feel by eliminating expansion under pressure. The included SC5 pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade option to RCI Race Pads is available for dedicated track use, offering higher temperature resistance but are not recommended for street driving. Customization options include a selection of caliper colors, rotor types (cross-drilled for cooler operation on daily drivers, or slotted for track use), and center bell upgrades.
