8-Piston Big Brake Kit

This kit builds upon the Procomp series with even larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, featuring an 8-piston opposed configuration for superior braking force. The calipers are forged from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight, incredibly strong, and corrosion-free construction, while aluminum pistons enhance heat resistance. Installation is facilitated by CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for a direct bolt-on fitment to your OEM caliper bracket locations. Ksport offers a wide range of custom caliper color options, from standard painted finishes to premium high-polish and anodized colors, allowing for extensive personalization. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which provide excellent braking performance for daily driving and occasional track use. These pads are formulated to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Rotors can be optioned as either slotted or cross-drilled, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and slotted recommended for track use.
