The Ksport BKTY400-831CO Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as a direct upgrade over OEM brake systems, delivering significant stopping power for both street and track use. This kit features a floating rotor design and an 8-piston caliper configuration, designed to reduce brake fade and maintain consistent performance under demanding conditions. The calipers are constructed from aircraft-grade billet aluminum, offering extreme lightweight properties with a one-piece differential bore design. Each caliper weighs just over 5 lbs, contributing to a reduction in unsprung weight. Features include aluminum pistons with high-temperature seals for fade resistance, stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, and an opposed piston design for improved pad wear evenness and caliper rigidity. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring a firm and consistent pedal feel.
