8 Piston Big Brake Kit

This innovative system utilizes a single 4-piston caliper, ingeniously splitting its function: two pistons engage for the primary foot brake, while the other two independently operate the handbrake, providing superior control and dual functionality. Constructed with a focus on lightweight strength, the calipers are forged from a single piece of aerospace-quality aluminum. This one-piece design eliminates weak points common in cast or welded calipers, ensuring durability and resistance to warping and failure under extreme conditions. The caliper pistons are crafted from aluminum and equipped with heavy-duty, high-temperature seals, while titanium brake pad retainer clips and stainless-steel wear plates contribute to longevity and consistent performance. The kit includes 356mm x 32mm two-piece floating brake discs, featuring lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center sections to reduce rotational mass and improve brake response. Options for cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily driving for cooler operation) or slotted rotors (for track use to manage heat and gases) are available. Included as standard are SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking under street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. An upgrade option to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also comes with DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which enhance pedal response and feel by preventing line expansion under pressure. A polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever are also part of the package, adding both aesthetic appeal and functional control.
