This sophisticated system builds upon the features of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, as well as increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant component. The calipers also house aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain optimal performance under demanding conditions. This kit includes SC1 Street Pads and stainless steel brake lines, with options for slotted or cross-drilled rotors. This specific kit is designed for the Volkswagen Passat models from 1988-1997 with AWD and OE 2-piece caliper configurations. It features 400mm x 36mm drilled rotors, 8-piston orange calipers constructed from lightweight forged one-piece aluminum, and carbon steel caliper brackets.
