8-Piston Big Brake Kit w/ 2-Piece Drilled Rotors

This complete front brake upgrade features robust 8-piston calipers, crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for exceptional light weight and unparalleled strength. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and minimizes uneven wear, while the aluminum pistons resist corrosion and dissipate heat effectively. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure these larger-than-OEM calipers mount directly to existing points. The kit's 2-piece rotors are made from cast iron with aluminum centers, reducing rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also minimizes rotor warpage by allowing for more free expansion and contraction. The calipers are equipped with heavy-duty seals suitable for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion for faster pedal response. It includes drilled rotors, recommended for daily street use, which help manage heat, dust, and gases. For street driving, Street pads with a low-dust ceramic compound are suggested, while Race pads are available for track-only applications. This kit is specifically designed for the 2013 - 2018 Scion FR-S. The minimum required wheel diameter is 18 inches (457mm), and the rotors have an outside diameter of 14 inches (356mm).
