8-Piston Big Brake Kit w/ Slotted Rotors

The kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which is machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighs just over 7 lbs. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, along with integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems. Further enhancing performance, the SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while the floating capability prevents warping and cupping of the braking surface due to extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotors accelerates gas and pad debris expulsion and reduces braking noise. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles used more frequently on the track. This specific kit (BKLX150-863SO) is designed for the rear of the 2001-2006 Lexus LS430 and includes 400mm (15.7-inch) slotted rotors and stainless steel braided brake lines to eliminate line expansion under pressure.
