8-Piston Caliper Big Brake Kit

The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7 lbs., is constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore, larger opposed pistons for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity, machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors is optimized to minimize braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. Ksport ensures peak performance by heat-treating and balancing every rotor before shipment. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles used more frequently on the track. This specific kit is designed for the Toyota MR2 from 1990-1999 and is noted to fit 2WD vehicles only.
