8-Piston Caliper Big Brake Kit

The Ksport ProComp Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated, bolt-on solution for significantly upgrading your vehicle's braking performance, especially under demanding high-heat conditions. Each caliper in this kit is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-free component. The calipers feature aluminum pistons, which enhance heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation. For added strength and to facilitate the direct fitment of these larger-than-OEM calipers, reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets are utilized. The kit utilizes 2-piece vented rotors with drilled surfaces, constructed with aluminum centers to reduce rotational mass, improve braking response, and shorten stopping distances. This two-piece design also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction. The opposed-piston caliper design significantly improves pad grip and reduces uneven wear, while the heavy-duty caliper seals are built to withstand sustained high-temperature racetrack use. Additionally, stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to a faster and more consistent pedal response. This ProComp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2003 - 2007 Mitsubishi Evolution models. It requires a minimum wheel diameter of 18 inches (457mm) and features 356mm (14-inch) outside diameter rotors. The kit is supplied with street-performance brake pads.
