8-Piston Caliper Big Brake Kit w/ Drilled Rotors

This kit features 8-piston calipers, crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for exceptional lightness, strength, and corrosion resistance. The opposed-piston caliper design optimizes pad grip, reduces uneven wear, and contributes to quicker braking response. Constructed with 2-piece vented and drilled rotors made from cast iron with aluminum centers, this design minimizes rotational mass and reduces the chance of warping by allowing for more free expansion and contraction. The caliper brackets are made from reinforced carbon steel, ensuring these larger-than-OEM calipers can be mounted directly to the existing factory mounting points without requiring modifications. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to faster pedal response. Key specifications include a minimum wheel diameter requirement of 18 inches (457mm), a rotor outside diameter of 14 inches (356mm), and caliper pistons made of aluminum for superior heat resistance and lighter weight. All caliper seals are heavy-duty, intended for sustained high-temperature use. This big brake kit is specifically designed for the 2003-2007 Mitsubishi Evolution models.
