8-Piston Caliper Brake Kit

This kit is designed to provide the highest level of stopping capability by incorporating larger-diameter disc rotors and robust 8-piston calipers. Each caliper is precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant construction. The integrated aluminum pistons further enhance performance by offering superior heat resistance and smoother operation, crucial for demanding driving conditions. The opposed-piston caliper design significantly improves pad grip and minimizes uneven wear, while reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow for the direct installation of these larger-than-OEM calipers onto existing mounting points. The 2-piece rotors, featuring aluminum centers, reduce rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also mitigates rotor warpage by allowing for more free expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. Heavy-duty caliper seals are incorporated for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a faster pedal response. This kit is compatible with 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza models. It requires a minimum wheel diameter of 21 inches (533.4mm) and features 421mm (16.6 inch) outside diameter, drilled, vented, 2-piece cast iron rotors with street-performance brake pads.
