8-Piston Caliper Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers ultimate stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads. The SuperComp caliper itself is an extreme lightweight design, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7 lbs each. It features differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than their ProComp calipers and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper size, each SuperComp caliper requires four brake pads. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design prevents thermal stresses from warping or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads optimized for street and occasional track use with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer reduced dust (by 50% or more) and noise compared to race pads, with an average coefficient of friction between .46 and .53. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions (optimal temperatures 482°F – 1472°F) but are not recommended for street use.
