The 8-piston calipers, a key component of this kit, are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which are known for their superior heat resistance compared to other materials, maintaining braking effectiveness under demanding use. Carbon steel caliper brackets are included to ensure proper fitment with the OEM caliper bracket location, facilitating a bolt-on installation. The included SC5 Street Pads provide optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. For improved pedal feel and response, Ksport includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. This brake kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. It is specifically designed for the 2006-2008 Dodge Magnum Non SRT/Non AWD models.
