Description

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit delivers superior stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. This front-position kit features a lightweight, aircraft-grade billet caliper designed with differential bore configuration, weighing just over 5 lbs. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for enhanced durability and caliper rigidity. The opposed piston design offers improved pad wear over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a two-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design mitigates thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and surface cupping. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. For optimal performance, every rotor is heat-treated and balanced. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with frequent track use, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily drivers.
