8-Piston Caliper with 400mm Slotted Rotors

This sophisticated system integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface under braking, ensuring consistent performance even under sustained high-heat conditions. The SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft quality billet, is an extreme lightweight design weighing just over 7 lbs. each. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers and includes protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design inherently improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's larger size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. This SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. This kit features slotted rotors, which are recommended for vehicles that will see more track use than daily driving, as they provide superior performance in high-heat, demanding situations.
