Designed as a direct bolt-on, this kit requires no vehicle modifications for installation, simplifying the upgrade process. It builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. The standard full-floating rotor design enhances self-centering within the caliper, which can reduce brake drag and improve overall performance. Construction is robust, with calipers forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. The aluminum pistons within the calipers are chosen for their superior heat resistance and reliability. This kit comes equipped with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in both street conditions and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads), along with decreased noise and rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and slotted rotors preferred for track-focused vehicles.
