8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

Each caliper in this kit is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free component. The opposed-piston caliper design is crucial for enhancing pad grip and minimizing uneven wear. KSport utilizes aluminum caliper pistons, which offer superior heat resistance, smoother operation, and contribute to overall weight reduction. This big brake kit features 400mm (15.75-inch) slotted, vented, 2-piece rotors with a cast iron construction and fixed hats. The 2-piece design incorporates an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also mitigates rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. Heavy-duty caliper seals are incorporated for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, while the outer rotor sections are crafted from high-carbon content iron to minimize noise, vibration, and harshness. Furthermore, the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, ensuring a faster pedal response. The reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow these larger-than-OEM size calipers to mount directly onto the existing mounting points. This kit requires a minimum wheel diameter of 508mm (20 inches).
