Overview

This sophisticated bolt-on system features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads than Ksport's Procomp kit, along with increased pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for better heat management. Carbon steel caliper brackets ensure a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM location.

Show original supplier description

This kit builds upon the successful Procomp design by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. Standard on the Supercomp system are full-floating rotors, which enhance self-centering capabilities within the caliper for reduced brake drag and more consistent application. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight and resistant to corrosion. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to provide a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing expansion under pressure. Customers can select between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they offer better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that will see more track time. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. It is important to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle before placing an order, as Ksport's sales team will work to ensure compatibility. If a fitment issue arises due to a recommendation from the sales team, Ksport will assist with returns and may waive restocking fees if the item is in like-new condition.
