The calipers feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, and high-temperature seals for reliable performance. This advanced design also includes an opposed piston configuration that improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components. For customization and specific driving needs, Ksport offers the option of either slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles that see more track time. Additionally, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that resist expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The kit includes custom-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for direct mounting to the OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers.
