Description

The caliper is an extreme lightweight, differential bore design, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 5 lbs. It includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design mitigates thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing disc warping. The unique slotting on the rotors helps expel gas and pad debris and reduces braking noise. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily drivers. This specific kit includes slotted rotors. Application: 2011-2016 Honda Odyssey RL5 Chassis.
