Description

This front brake system features a red SuperComp 8-piston caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, offering a lightweight yet rigid design that improves pad wear over OEM configurations. The kit includes a substantial 400mm (16-inch) 2-piece floating disc assembly with drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. The unique slot design on the rotor aids in reducing noise and expelling gas and debris. The opposed piston caliper design contributes to enhanced caliper rigidity, while the stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent braking force. The 2-piece floating disc assembly minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight and combats thermal stresses from extreme heat. This specific kit is designed for the 2001-2005 Honda Civic ES/EP Chassis Hatchback models with a 4x100 bolt pattern. The drilled rotor style is recommended for daily drivers, whereas slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
